My friends and I went and saw Across the Universe in the theaters tonight, and I am so glad I got to see it. Oh, goodness. I watched the new Highlander movie (Highlander: The Source) with friends tonight, and that is the way to go if you're going to watch this movie. Because, dear lord, it was bad. Well, Serenity was really, really good. I've seen it twice now, and I'd also like to state that everyone should go see it. Even if you never saw Firefly, they did a really good job making the movie accessible. (My dad, who only ever saw one ep and is notorious for asking questions during movies, followed it just fine and never once got bored.)

I just saw Legally Blonde 2. It was so cute! Completely unrealistic, but then. The best feel-good movies are. Emmett (Luke Wilson) and Elle (Reese Witherspoon) were an adorable couple. I admit-- I'm a total sap, but the two did seem to really be in love. And Emmett was very supporting of Elle throughout the movie. I was glad that they didn't ( Read more... )
